Discogram... Not as fun as it sounds!

I have decided that I want to start blogging more. I keep reading all of my friends blogs and I just think it's a good idea...

Life has been interesting for me recently. I had to go home from school for a while, because of my back. It's really been hurting again. Today, I had a discogram done... It may sound like fun, but it is far from it! It hurts so bad! Jessica and pain pills do not mix! I just want to vomit... They had me on morphine earlier today and I wish I still had some in me, because I just hurt. The went in and injected some fluid and dye into my discs to regenerate my pain and watch them leak (ouch!). They finally confirmed that I have more than one torn disc. (Last time I had one dr. say it was torn and another said it wasn't.) So, it was nice to find out that everyone was on the same page this time, especially because I don't want to do this procedure ever again! Tomorrow I will go to a doctor in Loveland (it's by Fort Collins) and get an opinion on disc replacement surgery vs. fusion. I was told today that I should think hard about disc replacement, because I am so young it might be the better option. So, I will be thinking hard and praying a lot this week as to what I should do. There's no easy way out. What I choose effects the rest of my life... So, I've got to make the best decision! Please pray for me!!
