Wow. I haven't blogged in forever... This past semester was absolutely crazy for me! I plan on blogging more this next one... Keep your fingers crossed! haha
I wanted to do a New Year's post the other day, but was simply too tired after work. So, here it is! :)
2010 was a great year for me. I'd venture to say it was definitely the best I've had in at least 5 years... I think this had much to do with the fact that I had my body back! After having back surgery in November 2009, my back greatly improved over 2010 and I had many adventures that coincided with this great "new" life!
Highlights of 2010:
I completed a total of 44 credits at the University of Utah.
I ran my first mile since 2005... It was amazing! I've gone running many times since.
Vail with friends for President's Day weekend
Road trip to Lava Hot Springs during the summer (including the water park and tubing the river)! :)
Many friends went on missions.
Old friends came home from missions. :)
My best friend's wedding. Congrats to Kalyn and Scott Gourley!
I met some wonderful people. Some new great friends. :)
Lake Powell, Las Vegas, and Camping with my family.
I went to a new temple to do baptisms... Bountiful. It was gorgeous!
Went on a lot of fun dates.
Had the honor of being an officer in Gamma (Lambda Delta Sigma). :)
Became FHE mom for my ward.
Lived with some of my favorite people! Miss some of them dearly...
Learned to snowboard again.
Completed the requirements to graduate from institute!!
Made the Dean's list.
Went to all of the football games with friends!
I went back to my usual playful self!
Studied my scriptures... And learned so much!
My testimony grew.
I was happy. :)
I'm sure this list could go on forever... Those are some of the big things I can think of right now though. I'm sure that 2011 will be even better! ;)
Things I'm hoping for in 2011:
Going to many softball games to cheer on my favorite Pandi Bear play for the U!
Snowboarding adventures... I will overcome my fear of speed! haha
President's day weekend in Vail with friends... It's tradition!
No summer school!! haha
Doing well in school.
More time with my family.
Learning to cook... real meals! haha
Maybe date someone... haha
More adventures with friends.
Vacations! :)
Learning to be more patient.
Graduating from Institute.
Going to the Denver Temple. I've never been there... And, I am from Colorado!
Improving my Spanish skills.
Finish reading the Book of Mormon again.
Being a better sister, daughter, friend, and person.
