Engaged!

Yes, I know this post is way overdue... In case you somehow missed the news...

We are engaged! Jared purposed on November 29th and we are getting married on March 10th!

I am so excited! Life has been... BUSY every single day since the moment I said yes! :)

When you add finals, Christmas, New Years, working like a crazy person, moving into a new apartment, buying furniture, unpacking, starting a new semester, and planning a wedding together... Well let's just say, sleeping and other basic needs such as time to relax and have fun just hit the back burner.

Also, as a side note... I just have to say that wedding invitations are like death! I am SO glad we are done with them! :) Haha

In the case that you wanted to hear how this whole engagement thing went down... Here's the story! :)

We went to dinner at Rodizio Grill. It's a great Brazilian restaurant located at Trolley Square. My mom was in town and it was my idea for us to take her there. Jared went to Brazil on his mission... So, we like to go to restaurants when we have the chance and the occasion presents itself. They are amazing if you haven't been before, the food is delish!

When we got to Rodizio, the thought had crossed my mind that it would be a good idea for him to propose... But, I took a look at his pockets... And there definitely was not a ring box in there! He had also taken a long nap and procrastinated doing a lab report he had due the next day... So, the thought of him proposing that night quickly left my mind.

After dinner though.... We decided to get dessert. Just after they brought dessert out, it all went down!

We were sitting there and all of the sudden, all the waiters and waitresses showed up at our table. They were carrying a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of roses and a serving tray with napkins folded and laying nicely around a little open black box with a ring inside it.

Jared took the flowers, and gave them to me. Then he grabbed the ring, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! I was so HAPPY and in complete shock!

All I wanted was for him to get back up and kiss me! Haha. It was cute. :)

I just LOVE him! I always have and I always will! I am so excited to get married to my best friend! I love that this is just the beginning of FOREVER for us!
